    Marjan Glavac (BA, BEd, MA) is a professional speaker, teacher and author. He has used computers in education on the very first day he began teaching in 1982.     Lesson Planning Sites Part 5
    Here are five websites to help Busy Educators with their lesson planning.
    A collection of over 2,000 K-12 lesson plans from the Intel Applying Computers in Education (ACE) Project. Lesson plans are searchable by subject, grade level and keywords. the top award winning lesson plans can be viewed separately in chart form, in alphabetical order or by state.

    Homework Central
    Part of the Big Chalk site, this is a huge section with over 100,000 links and over 10,000 subjects. Organized by categories and a very fast search engine. Head over to Class Subjects, and click on Go for a detailed list of lessons.

    Reach Every Child
    Hall of Fame and award winning teacher Alan Haskvitz has designed this site with over 5,000 free and inexpensive resources heís collected and used in his classroom over the years. It covers major subject areas and is changed on a regular basis to reflect current events and the calendar.

    SMILE Science and Mathematics Initiative for Learning Enhancement
    Over 800 lesson plans available grades 3-12 in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Lessons are divided into categories for easy searching and are available on the website.

    The South Central Regional Technology in Education Consortium TrackStar guides are a set of very complete web based lesson plans for K-12 students. They are searchable by keyword, author, themes and standards, subject and category and track ID. This site also allows teachers to open an account and build their own lessons online. Other features include making quizzes and web pages of the lesson. Great ideas can be found here from very innovative teachers.
