I came to know about your organization
through internet and I appreciate your work
in the field of false dowry cases. Dowry is
a social evil which needs to be uprooted,
but at the same time people in India have
misused the laws and implicated their
inlaws in false dowry cases to extract
money or to simply harass to get their
demands met, specially when the local
police knows the loopholes and favours the
girl in expectation of big bribes.
I am based in India and I am
currently doing my residency in internal
medicine. My life is in a turmoil after my
wife cooked up false dowry cases against me
and my parents. No law enforcing agency is
ready to help us, saying that all laws
favour girl'side. There is nobody to whom
people like me approach to, in best of my
knowledge.
I understand that your's is a NRI
based organization, but still I wanted to
bring to your notice how rampant this
problem is in India.you'll agree with me
that girl's like these will teach their
friends the loopholes in sec.498IPC and
tell them how easy it is to extract money.
Don't you think that this problem can only
be dealt with if these people are punished
severly so that this can be a lesson for
others.
If you can help me than please
show me a way to get out of this mess.
