Letters to the Editor...
Disliked principal

I have taught for 30 years and love my
job. Recently we got a new principal which
I can't stand. For various reasons I don't
want to change schools and can't afford a
job change. I have many parent requests
to have children in my class, so I don't
think I am a poor teacher. I try new
ideas, look for ways to better meet my
students needs, and love the age group I
teach. How do you deal with a principal
who has favorites, and does things to get
older staff to leave, and thinks he's the
greatest. There are many articles about
principals having problems with teachers
but not the other way around. Many staff
feel as i do but don't feel they can speak
up or be open.
