Pre-Reading:
1.) G.O. Talk about food that students like and foods that students dislike
2.) Talk about Dr. Suess and how he uses a lot of rhyming in his books
a. Modeling: Rhyming Words (attached)
i. What letters do you see in common (same endings)

During Reading:
1.) How does the character who keeps on refusing to eat the green eggs and ham feel? How do you know?


Post Reading:
1.) Why did he finally give in and eat the green eggs and ham?
2.) Do you think green scrambled eggs taste the same as regular eggs? Graphic Organizer: Reasons why or why not to eat green eggs and ham.
3.) What is a rhyming word? Give me an example of two words that rhyme.
4.) How many foods can you think of that are green?
