Narrator 1: Jules noticed that it started to rain. He heard a truck go by.

Sound Effects: Vroom! Vroom! Vroom! (Truck noises)

Jules: I want to go and visit Mrs. Lee!

Narrator 2: Later that day Jules went to the hospital.

Sound Effects: Knock on the Door (knocking on a door)

Mrs. Lee: Come In!

Nurse: Be Quiet!

Narrator 1: Jules came in and gave Mrs. Lee a hug.

Nurse: Be careful, she is very pale and very sick.

Narrator 2: The nurse fussed by her bed.

Narrator 1: Jules pulled out some fruit to give to Mrs. Lee.

Mrs. Lee: Thank You Jules!

Narrator 1: Mrs. Lee admired her presents. Then Jules pulled out the coolest present of all!

Sound Effect: Boom, cha, boom, boom cha boom (boom box noises)

Narrator 2: Then the boom box went…..

Sound Effect: thump, thump!

Nurse: Shhhh! Be quiet! You are going to wake the patients!

Jules: Do you know what that is?

Mrs. Lee: It sounds like fruit dropping into a bag.

Jules: Good. Now what’s this?

Sound Effect: Whap-thump, whap-thump1

Nurse: Shhhh! Be quiet! You are going to wake the patients!

Mrs. Lee: It’s the kids jumping rope!

Jules: Good. Now what’s this?

Sound Effect: bam-bam-zoom. (truck noises)

Mrs. Lee: That’s a truck!

Nurse: Shhhh! Be quiet! You are going to wake the patients!

Jules: Good. Now what’s this?

Mrs. Peck: Hello, Mrs. Lee. This is Mrs. Peck. I just wanted to say that I miss you and hope that you get better soon. Mrs. Peck then played a song for her on her flute.

Sound Effects: “Do be do be dooo beeeeeee!” (make flute noises)

Nurse: Shhhh! Be quiet! You are going to wake the patients!

Mrs. Lee: Thank You Jules. I was feeling blue, but not anymore.

Narrator 1: Mrs. Lee picked up the chalk and she drew a rainbow. Then she put some words under it.

Narrator 2: Thank you my friends, I can’t wait to see you all again!
